Teaser: EVS Tuning Pikes Peak 86 Build

Coronavirus – one of the biggest topics of discussion of 2020. It has postponed/canceled just about every sport known to man. With the new norm taking affect, our team – including our close friend and professional driver Dai Yoshihara – head to Colorado to tackle one of the most historic races in the states!

Our platform is essentially the same as last year with a few changes including a larger turbo, Artisan Spirits aero package, and Titan 7 T-S5 race wheels. We decided to pay a little homage to our past livery design and went with a silver/red/yellow/black motif this year.

Please wish us luck this upcoming Sunday August 30th, 2020, and stay tuned to our updates on our social media accounts @evasivemotorsports!

Artisan Spirits Acura NSX NC1

This past week we took in this NC1 NSX in 130R white for some tasteful mods.

At first glance you’ll notice that the NSX sits much lower. The more aggressive stance is all contributed by the ScienceofSpeed suspension lowering kit, which allowed us to drop the height 24mm from stock.

To match the cleaner stance, our customer decided to go with the Artisan Spirits aero kit which adds a subtle degree of aggression. The kit includes the front lip, side steps, rear over fenders, front bumper canards, rear trunk spoiler, and rear diffuser. All pieces made in carbon fiber.

To finish out the build, a set of HRE P104 wheels in satin black were mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubbers to aid in gripping the pavement.

All in all, the mods may seem subtle, but the outcome will definitely turn heads each time this NSX hits the L.A. pavement!

Novitec Power Optimized Exhaust System Install – Ferrari 488 Pista

This Ferrari 488 Pista was dropped off to have a special ordered Novitec Power Optimized exhaust system installed. The 488 Pista in general is a gorgeous machine, but this one in particular is indescribable with its custom green colorway. The paint job is really a one-off color consisting of hues of gold and metallic flakes, mixed in with several different shades of green.

The Novitec Power Optimized exhaust system installed comes with the flap-regulation option and is comprised of the Inconel material. For those unfamiliar with Inconel – it is much more durable than normal stainless steel, and more resistant to oxidation and scaling. The exhaust flaps can be controlled using the included remote and allows the user to quickly change the db rate of the exhaust tones at a press of a button. If you are wondering if the exhaust flaps will stay in the last position when the car was turned off, the answer is yes they will remain in the same position.

The before and after is quite noticeable. When the flap is closed on the Novitec, the exhaust tone is actually much quieter than stock. Once the flap is opened you’ll be greeted with a much throatier, louder, and deeper exhaust tone that roars the perfect tune. In the video clip that we have above we showcase the three different comparisons between OEM, closed flap, and open flap, as well as an exterior open flap clip at the end of the video. The opening and closing of the exhaust flaps are manually controlled via the included keyfob.
