Muteki SR48’s are now available in chrome orange and pink. Orange is pretty cool and will match alot of orange and copper shaded cars. Pink has been requested from female car enthusiasts for quite some time now. We’re happy to be able to bring them some!

Thank you for all those who attended Formula DRIFT: Round 3 in Palm Beach Florida. Everyone was friendly and made our experience that much better. Having been the first Formula D event in Florida, all the drivers and teams wanted to put on a good show for the crowd. Practice sessions were going great for Driver Charles Ng and Evasive Motorsports. During qualifying runs, one of the diff mounts snapped on the car. With about 20 minutes to go before Charles’ second run, our techs were able to swap out a replacement. It was a very suspenseful situation as we had an anxious crew who did not want to go home without having a chance to run in the competition. As soon as the car was dropped back to the ground, Charles jumped in and made a great run which got us in the top 32.

For the top 32 battle, Charles had to go up against Nitto teammate Joon Maeng in his famous RX-8. This turned out to be a friendly, but fierce competition. Charles defeated Joon and was able to go to the top 16.

For the top 16 battle, Charles went up against Tyler McQuarrie from Team Falken. We ran into some clutch problems, but in either case, Tyler was going to be a tough battle as Joon definitely was. Tyler knocked out Charles during this battle, but not without a fight. Check out Charles’ amazing reverse entry during his lead run.

Round 4 of Formula DRIFT will be in New Jersey at Wall Speedway, June 17-18. Stop by the pits to greet us and get some free stickers. Charles will be signing autographs on his official hero card.
