Testing for Super Lap Battle

We’re testing out the S2000 today for the Super Lap Battle event next week. Here are some photos of the car with some new changes. We chassis mounted the Voltex Type 7 GT Wing through a dry carbon trunk and put on the race version of the Voltex front bumper with front undersplitter. Did some additional tuning to the car with AEM EMS series 2 system. The wheels have been changed out to WedsSport TC105n with custom powdercoat to match that of the Weds JGTC cars. We’ll also be bring out our EVO 9 to the event. Stay tuned for more updates!

2011 Scion Tuner Challenge: EVS IQ-RS

Evasive Motorsports has been busy working on a Scion IQ, set to debut this week at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV. Co-founder and CEO Mike Chang was one of the chosen builders based on renderings submitted for entry to the contest. Each builder was given the 2012 Scion IQ and a budget of $15,000 to re-work the little eco-friendly vehicle.

If you’re familiar with Evasive Motorsports, you’ll be able to tell that the theme of the demo car is very much time attack and road race orientated. Dubbed the “EVS IQ-RS”, we took inspirations from Japanese aero styling and our own personal racing experience, and aimed to demonstrate the capabilities of our company. Working around the clock, in as little as two months, this is the final product. Most of what you see on the car was hand fabricated in-house by various members of our team.

This was a great project that turned out to be as fun as it was efficiently time demanding. We’d like to give a big thanks to Scion for the wonderful opportunity that they’ve provided for us. Thank you to all the loyal fans and customers that have supported us through the years. We definitely wouldn’t have made it without you. In case you were wondering, the number “10” on the number plate signifies Evasive Motorsports’ 10th year anniversary coming up in 2012.

A special thanks to our sponsors: Tint Factory, Wraptivo, Meguiar’s, Advan Racing, Toyo Tires, Sparco, Koyo, Wilwood, and Air Runner
