The successor to the popular RZ-DF wheel has just been released! Redesigned from the ground up, the RZ-DF2 was crafted with specific focus on the outer rim and twin spokes. Featuring 5 different types of concave faces that have been inherited from the Advan Racing GT Beyond, this wheel is available in many different specifications to suit your vehicle best. Offered in three different colors, the center of the wheel features a diamond cut in all but the fully black model. An engraving of the words “ADVAN Racing RZ-DF2 MOLD-FORM FORGED” is prominently displayed on the inner part of the wheel, helping further to set it apart from the original RZ-DF model. The RZ-DF2 adopts a barrel rim profile that is compatible with most large brake rotors, which combined with being forged, makes it an excellent choice for either the track or street. New products from acclaimed seat manufacturer BRIDE! The fan favorite EUROSTER II seat has received a refresh in the form of a new camo pattern fabric, as well as an updated urethane foam design. The EUROGHOST is based off BRIDE’s popular EUROSTER II seat, which incorporates an ergonomic design for long drives and durable PVC seat fabric. These qualities make it an ideal choice for camping and other outdoor activities. The EUROGHOST model has a new urethane foam design for comfort, as well as an exclusive camo pattern offered in three different color choices: Green Camouflage, Blue Camouflage, and Olive Green Camouflage. Dai Yoshihara and Evasive sets new S2000 Buttonwillow Record! 1:41.20

If there’s any application that Evasive Motorsports is known for, it’s got to be the Honda S2000. Years in the making, this is our 4th major build involving this platform. After running it at Global Time Attack last year at the Long Beach Grand Prix, we decided to take it to another level. Previously, this build was powered by an upgraded HKS GT Supercharger with a GTS8555. However, we weren’t satisfied with the power at 450whp. So we went back to our roots and asked HKS to support us in switching our setup to a turbocharger. For those that remember our EVO IX, HKS supported the turbo setup on that project. With an Origin Fab custom turbo manifold, we mounted an HKS GT6290 BB turbo to the TODA stroked F22C. With the help of NCS Designs, the car was tuned to 640whp.

With Dai Yoshihara at the helm, the car did its first shakedown at this past weekend’s Global Time Attack finals event. Dai was able to clock a new S2000 record lap of 1:41.2. He thinks he can get it down to 1:40 in the current setup. We’ll have to return to see. View the record setting lap below along with interview and overview with Dai Yoshihara.
