Evasive Motorsports finishes Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2013

Robert Walker of Evasive Motorsports raced the Scion FR-S up Pikes Peak with a completion time of 10:59. Conquering Pikes Peak was one of Evasive Motorsports greatest challenges to date. A week long filled with practice and qualifying sessions, the team worked around the clock from mornings throughout the nights, analyzing data and making necessary adjustments for the big race.

Originally, Evasive Motorsports was registered under the Time Attack Division, which would have placed Walker 4th in the class, but was bumped up into the unlimited class due to Evasive’s complex aero design. In the same class as champions Sebastein Loeb and Rhys Millen, Walker placed 9th. Overall, he placed 27th of 143 competitors of all classes. Ultimately, Evasive Motorsports’ main goal was to finish the race with a respectable time since this was our first time out at Pikes Peak. We are very happy with the results and hope to return next season to beat our current time.

Evasive Motorsports would like to thank all of our sponsors for helping us during this project: Maxxis Tires, HKS, Rays Engineering, Project Mu, Voltex, Tamon Design, Sparco, Cusco, Craftsquare, Kaaz, Koyo, Meguiar’s, Motul, Tint Factory.net.
