In conjunction with the FIA World Touring Car Championship, Evasive Motorsports is bringing its first official meet for track enthusiasts. This meet will occur on WTCC race day, Sunday, September 8th at Sonoma Raceway in Northern California. The meet will consist of two parts:
TIME ATTACK DEMO
WTCC has authorized a Time Attack Demo, where 10 cars will be able to run a session on track, during race day. Drivers will be able to race in front of the thousands of fans attending the WTCC event and experience what it's like to run on track in a pro-series event.
NOTE: If you're interested in competing in the demo, AFTER registering, submit photos of your car, details of the setup, and driving experience to mike@evasivemotorsports.com. You MUST be an experienced driver. Final selection will be completed by August 30th. Slots are limited, so sign up now!
TRACK CAR SHOWCASE
Whether your car is a weekend warrior or a fully-prepped race car, bring it out and put it on display! Track enthusiasts do believe in functionality, but doesn't necessarily mean we sacrifice form as some may think. Let's show them how we do it. Hang out with friends and trade your experiences on and off the track.
Showcase registration fee is $50.00, which includes registration for one vehicle and WTCC weekend passes for 2.
Gates open at 8:00 am and event will run through until 5:30 pm
